The Digital Rapids StreamZ is a family of media encoding servers that
allow you to expand the capabilities of traditional video systems. StreamZ
gives you the ability to incorporate live web streaming, video archiving,
and transcoding directly into your existing network. Think of it as a
video source with an IP address, a bridge between your video and network
installations. Reaching a larger audience, StreamZ gives you the ability to repurpose your content into multiple formats simultaneously, in realtime. This means you no longer have to choose between Windows and Real streaming formats. You can have multiple versions of each at the same time. If your system is powerful enough you can even add non streaming formats such as MPEG and other archive formats without giving up your real-time encoding. StreamZ systems support real-time encoding into MPEG, Quicktime, and lossless or uncompressed compression broadcast quality video. The list of video formats supported by StreamZ continues to grow and the software upgradeability means you never have to worry about compatibility with new streaming video standards as they arise. Multi-format encoding means you can reach a larger, more geographically diverse audience than ever before. |

With StreamZ you are not locked into low resolution or low quality streaming video formats. Every StreamZ comes equipped with our powerful Media Processing Engine (MPE). The MPE delivers high quality video by removing noise from the source video. In addition, the MPE can reformat the video into progressive scan for a true digital video experience. The advanced audio processing capabilities of the MPE give you complete control over the audio quality. Each audio channel (8 total) comes equipped with a 7-band Parametric EQ, and each stereo pair has a built in dynamic range Cleaner audio and video means less work for the CPU, which means you can actually process more audio and video streams simultaneously. Greater quality, higher resolution, and more streams add up to the most productive system available. |
